Working directly for Lidl UK, Rio Surfacing completed the new Marlow store access works to Buckingham County Council specifications. These works were successfully completed under a statutory S278 agreement to ensure all parties comply with the planning permission and design requirements.

Tight timescales were met to ensure the works were completed with minimal disruption to local traffic and neighbouring residents. Following completion of the works, the client engaged us to complete the total resurfacing of a 162-space car park serving the new store and local businesses as part of the planning conditions.

All works were completed within programme and open for public use with no delay to the store opening. We have been engaged by Lidl to complete other works which include surfacing, lining, drainage, sections 278 new store access works at a number of stores in their portfolio including Erdington, Mere Green, Hamstead, Biggleswade, Marlow, Northampton, Haughton Regis, Stirchley, Walsall, Wolverhampton etc.
