Over the last 50 years, here at Rio Surfacing, we have developed a track record of dealing with a wide variety of clients within all sectors, across mainland Britain.

We are fully accredited with the following industry bodies – Constructionline Gold, CHAS Elite, Acclaim, Safecontractor, ISO 9001 and have longstanding relationships with all manufacturers which includes traditional and specialist products.

Our workforce is fully trained to the highest standards, are all DBS cleared and CSCS card holders. Most of our staff within Rio Surfacing have been with the business for many years so you can be assured that from inception to completion your project is being handled by an expert within their field.

We work both independently, and alongside other contractors to ensure we provide the best quality service whilst adhering to your timelines, liaising closely with you throughout the duration of your project and completing the works to your specification.

Minimising our environmental impact and actively taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint as we plan and deliver our projects is a key part of how Rio Surfacing operates.

Rio Surfacing Ltd is aware of the impact that our activities have upon the environment both in terms of the use of raw materials, emissions to air and water and waste generation. We are committed to reducing our carbon emissions significantly year on year; to halving carbon emissions by 2030 and to achieving Net Zero by 2050.

In 2023 we worked with one of our University clients to formalise a Carbon Reduction Plan, demonstrating our commitment to Net Zero by improving Sustainability practice within the business to minimise our Environmental impact.

Rio Surfacing Ltd recognises that it has a legal requirement and a duty of care to comply with all current and future Waste Regulations and Environmental Protection Legislation. We are aware of the importance of meeting these legal requirements and of managing our waste responsibly, reducing the volume of waste sent to landfill and maximising reuse and recycling where possible.
