Car Park Refurbishments – Rio specialise in the refurbishment of existing Multi Storey Car Park structures within office blocks, shopping centres, public car parks etc.

Rio have recently carried out the Multi Storey Car Park refurbishment at the National Grid HQ in Warwick 16,500m² and also Trinity Walk Shopping Centre in Wakefield 7000m²
HGV Service Decks – Refurbishment of the service decks over shopping centres requires meticulous planning given that this is the logistical hub of the shopping centre. This critical area supports the facilitiy’s day to day operations, whilst also providing the waterproof covering to the shops below. Rio have expertise in the removal and replacement of the Mastic Asphalt coverings, whilst keeping the service deck fully operational, scheduling delivery of both installation materials as well as store deliveries. Rio have recently carried out the refurbishment of many service decks including Middleton Grange Shopping Centre in Hartlepool, Grosvenor Centre in Northampton, Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull and Wellington Square Shopping Centre in Stockton on Tees.
Railway Platforms – Rio have worked with Network Rail via multiple Main Contractors to deliver the replacement of the Mastic Asphalt Paving to the platforms. These are complex works undertaken over a series of weekend night closures. The planning for these are meticulous and the staff are well versed in the process involved and the paramount importance on both safety and the delivery of the project on time to ensure that platforms are handed over in a timely fashion.
Rio have recently carried out the refurbishment of platforms on Carlisle and Manchester Piccadilly Train Stations.
