Scope of Work

The scope of work was extensive and involved multiple phases:

  1. Pitched Roofing Installation:
    • We installed high-quality pitched roofing across several sections of the school building, using premium materials that complied with the latest industry standards. This included materials designed to withstand the local weather conditions and ensure the long-term performance of the roof.
  2. Flat Roofing Systems:
    • In addition to the pitched roof, we installed modern flat roofing solutions in designated areas, incorporating the latest waterproofing and insulation technologies to enhance the roof’s durability and energy efficiency.
  3. M&E Ventilation System Alterations:
    • Significant modifications were made to the kitchen ventilation systems, including upgrades to accommodate improved air circulation and compliance with modern building regulations. Our team worked closely with the school’s facilities management and M&E contractors to integrate the new systems seamlessly into the building’s structure.
  4. Coordination and Operational Continuity:
    • Given the sensitive nature of working within a live school environment, we coordinated carefully with Stokeminster School to ensure that the school could continue to operate as normal. This required meticulous planning and scheduling to minimize disruption to classes, events, and the school’s daily operations.
    • Specific work, such as roofing and ventilation system installation, was carried out during school holidays or outside of regular school hours to ensure a smooth process without affecting the school’s functionality.
  5. Window Replacement:

As part of the project, we replaced all windows throughout the school to improve energy efficiency, insulation, and security. The new windows not only enhanced the building’s aesthetic appeal but also helped reduce energy costs, contributing to a more sustainable and comfortable learning environment.
