Throughout the summer term, Rio Asphalt stripped and installed a brand new BUR IKO Felt system, inclusive of all cladding, new windows, rooflights, and M&E alterations.

The success of the project is a testimony to the experience and skill of the team. The school remained live during the entire process and we worked extensively with the school to ensure there was minimal impact and zero downtime for any classes, or services within.

The project included the removal of over twenty rooflights which were redundant. Committed to Safe2Torch, we highlighted areas of potential risk to mitigate and manage potential risks, merging the evergrowing blend of Torch Free systems. With the mixture of elastomeric bitumen membranes, efficient PIR insulation and collaboration with global leading manufacturers, we were able to deliver the project on time, on budget resulting in a 25 year guarantee for the client, and a thermal upgrade to enhance the energy properties of the structure.
