Key elements—such as M&E coordination and the removal and reinstatement of solar panels—were scheduled during school holidays to maintain uninterrupted school operations.

  3. Safety & Compliance: All works met the required health and safety standards, including Safe2Torch guidelines and all relevant building regulations. The final system was signed off by both the client and the manufacturer to secure the full guarantee.

Challenges and Solutions

Live School Environment & Safeguarding – Working within an active school environment required strict safeguarding measures. We implemented controlled access zones, clear signage, and regular safety briefings. Close coordination with school leadership ensured students stayed safely away from construction areas and staff remained informed of ongoing works.

We also worked within tight holiday timeframes to remove and reinstall solar panels, remove and make good around windows, and complete internal works—all within a two-week period. Further coordination was required for the removal and reinstatement of M&E installations above the kitchen area, along with fitting new feature lantern lights, again completed within only two weeks. These operations were carried out with minimal disruption to daily school activities.

Budget Management
Through precise planning and efficient resource management, the project was delivered within the agreed budget.

The client expressed high satisfaction with the outcome, noting the professionalism of our team and the minimal impact on school operations. The head teacher also praised the smooth delivery and our flexibility in accommodating school needs.
