Minimising our environmental impact and actively taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint as we plan and deliver our projects is a key part of how Rio Asphalt & Paving Co Ltd operates.
Rio Asphalt & Paving Co Ltd is aware of the impact that our activities have upon the environment both in terms of the use of raw materials, emissions to air and water and waste generation. We are committed to reducing our carbon emissions significantly year on year; to halving carbon emissions by 2030 and to achieving Net Zero by 2050.

Rio Asphalt & Paving Co Ltd recognises that it has a legal requirement and a duty of care to comply with all current and future Waste Regulations and Environmental Protection Legislation. We are aware of the importance of meeting these legal requirements and of managing our waste responsibly, reducing the volume of waste sent to landfill and maximising reuse and recycling where possible.
